2019 Fantasy Outlook
Richardson was never able to really get things going at Kentucky, leading him to transfer to Marshall. While the Wildcats aren't typically thought of as one of the best teams in the SEC, a move from that conference to Conference USA should be helpful for his fantasy numbers. The fact he's joining a team that just lost its top receiver, a fellow one-time transfer Tyre Brady, should also help. Don't be surprised if Richardson is Marshall's top receiver at the end of the year, but we need to see that in action on the field first. Just catalog his name in your brain as somebody to keep an eye on for now. Read Past Outlooks
Transferring to Marshall
WRMarshall
April 8, 2019
Richardson will play his final season of eligibility at Marshall as a grad transfer.
ANALYSIS
After four seasons at Kentucky in which he caught 49 passes for 645 yards and one touchdown, Richardson will leave with a degree in hand and play his final season with Marshall. He'll be making a jump from last year's 120th passing attack at 151.3 yards per game to Marshall, who was 70th at 223.9 passing yards each contest, so there are likely to be more opportunities for Richardson so rack up fantasy value. He'll be eligible to play immediately but will need to compete with last year's top returning receiver Obi Obialo for targets.
