Headed to Duke
February 2, 2020
Brice announced Sunday via his personal Twitter account that he will join Duke as a graduate transfer this fall.
ANALYSIS
After announcing his intentions to transfer from Clemson in mid-January, Brice will stick within the ACC to continue his career. A rising redshirt junior, Brice is on track to graduate from Clemson this spring, leaving him in line to compete immediately for Duke's vacant starting quarterback job when he arrives in Durham in the fall. Brice, who has two years of eligibility remaining, appeared in 11 games for the Tigers in 2019, completing 50 of 85 passes for 581 yards, four touchdowns and one interception. He'll battle with Chris Katrenick and Gunnar Holmberg for the right to replace graduating senior Quentin Harris under center.
