2022 Fantasy Outlook
Fitzpatrick was a fourth-round selection in the 2021 NFL Draft, though he failed to make the Titans out of camp and was stashed on their practice squad until Week 10. Even once he was on the ac-tive roster, he was inactive for several games and concluded his rookie campaign with the only five catches for 49 yards and a touchdown. An overhaul of the team's receiving corps will give Fitzpatrick a second chance to catch on with the offense in 2022, but he'll be hard-pressed to maintain a sig-nificant role without an injury to Robert Woods, Treylon Burks or Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. Feeling more prepared
Fitzpatrick is preparing to compete for a larger role in Tennessee's offense in 2022, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Fitzpatrick struggled to maintain a consistent role in his rookie campaign, as he failed to make Tennessee's roster out of training camp and recorded only five total receptions. However, he feels more prepared heading into his second season as a pro and has gained a better understanding of the team's expectations. The Titans overhauled their wide receiver corps this offseason, but Fitzpatrick will still have to compete with the likes of Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Kyle Philips for consistent targets behind Robert Woods and Treylon Burks.

The Titans had turnover at wide receiver this offseason, with Corey Davis and Adam Humphries departing. To bolster depth at the position, the team dedicated the fourth pick of the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft to Fitzpatrick, who played out his four-year collegiate career at Louisville. Fitzpatrick was fairly productive there, as he recorded a 70th percentile target share and broke out as a 19-year-old. He also proved capable of working effectively as a deep threat, averaging 16.8 yards per reception. Looking ahead to his rookie campaign, Fitzpatrick figures to jostle for slotting with free agent addition Josh Reynolds behind A.J. Brown and Julio Jones the team's clear-cut top two wideouts.
