Continues volume striking tour
June 8, 2019
Xiaonan defeated Angela Hill via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC 238 on Saturday in Chicago.
At the end of the first round, Hill had a fully locked on triangle choke. However, Yan was able to survive and make the final bell. For the rest of the fight, both fighters had their moments in the striking game, but Yan was much more active throughout. Yan still eats a lot of counters from her opponents, but her offensive striking will be more than enough to carry her to victories in this division.
